At its heart The George remains an independent local village pub, offering a warm welcome, great beers, genuine hospitality and excellent food.  Everything is fresh, seasonal and where possible local.

The open fire, beautiful oak beams and original features make our pub for foodies the perfect venue for all occasions. In the winter months the comfortable dining room is brilliant for family outings, special suppers or a romantic dinner for two. In the summer our established and tranquil garden is the perfect place for a casual lunch or an al fresco dinner with friends.
